Drachen Foundation

The Drachen Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation based in Seattle devoted to spreading knowledge about kites worldwide.

Its history has allowed it to accumulate a large collection of kites, photographs, books, and kite ephemera and to learn a tremendous amount about it. With today's technology, it has digitized the majority of its collection and is now able to offer it online.

One of the original purposes of the Foundation was to collect, research and maintain a kite archive. It has opened that archive to the world kite community.It plans to become the world's largest collaboration of kites online.
